When I first met Lynne, her spirit and energy astounded me. She was one of the older orthopaedics patients who I met during my time in healthcare as a filmmaker, and as soon as I heard she was a dancer with a shoulder reconstruction, I knew I wanted to do something special. So I came up with the concept of a vignette, contacted some of our friends who had access to a dance studio, and was able to work with Lynne to capture some amazing footage of her celebrating her recovery through dance.
We used these photos and video for Connections Magazine and we ended up putting her on the cover.
