While changing the core on my background paper in my studio, I started to wish I had more help. So I decided to imagine what that would look like.
I had done this sort of photo years before and wanted to do it again. I’ve always wanted to hand something to myself too to help sell the illusion. I had seen a behind the scenes instructions on how to hand yourself something on video so I decided to give it a shot.
I used two light stands to hold the cardboard core. Then I stood in both places. Then I shot background plates and photoshopped it all together.
